Welcome to Breaking Roulette 2022

Welcome to the home of the advantage play system created by Marcus Maxwell (me!). WOW! It has been a long road to get here, but here we are. Normally, I live and work in the IT Specialist world. How I came to create the Breaking Roulette system was mainly through the powers of observation. I played most of the table games and slots machines and settled upon Roulette as my favorite. Not because it made money every time, but there was something that made the game different.

The game of Roulette is a physical game with a spinning wheel and a ball spun in the opposite direction, resolving to one number. Craps works in a similar fashion using elements of gravity, the arc of the dice thrown and elasticity of the surfaces the dice bounce off of. Craps is such a high-speed game; we’d never be able to track that action. But fortunately for us, Roulette moves at a slower rate. I saw the chance for success instead of the outside, playing the inside and making patterns of betting that made a better outcome. After much self-education, testing and refinement, the Breaking Roulette system was “born”.

This is the first newsletter from Breaking Roulette. Please subscribe so you can get the latest information and updates on our system.

TIMELINE:

2018: I was looking at double knee replacement surgeries and I thought since I'll be off work for about 4 months with nothing to do but therapy, I will be able to publish my book that year. Well, 2018 came and went. 2019 came and went. So did 2020. I have never done any kind of work as a writer, so I had to learn how to communicate my methods explicitly in writing. I said there has got to be a book coming out for this system in 2021. I finally put together Breaking Roulette: An Introduction To Roulette. (on sale starting November 19-26). But this was just the beginning. More time and development was needed to put into words the full Roulette advantage play system. It now can be published. This is where we start Breaking Roulette.

CASINO REVIEWS

From my visits to casinos, I make reviews and pass on to you my recommendations of resorts to visit. On page 2, I visited the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA.

I hope it provides insights on whether to visit there or not.

TOURNAMENT REVIEW

I was fortunate enough to gain entry into the 2022 Spin to Win tournament. I have a report on how well I did on page 3

Emerald Queen Casino review: A tale of two casinos

(Excerpts from TripAdvisor.com review 9/28/2022)

Emerald Queen Casino has 2 locations along the I-5 highway in Tacoma, Washington. There is probably a story behind why to casinos were built so close together by the same Puyallup tribe, but I evaluated both sites for their aesthetics: how does it feel to play there.

The Emerald Queen Casino (Tacoma) was renovated in 2020. It used to be flat and long to walk through. I remember the main problem was hunting for open spots in large parking lots. It has improved considerably. Firstly, it has several parking garages. Well lit with uniformed security patrolling each floor. You still may have to walk a little but at least your car is covered from the Seattle weather. Outside the main detraction was a pot dispensary across the street which will not be reviewed.

Getting in you have elevators and escalators to take you to entry points. Every casino was doing strict ID checks before you could enter. Inside the casino was well lit with high ceiling décor. Smoking was allowed, so a high ceiling helps take the smoke away, and they did have non-smoking machine sections. The high limit area had its own mini deli for food purchases there. Emerald Queen has allied itself with MGM for sports betting and had BETMGM service there, and a spacious sports lounge and bar together.

Their theater was new and clean and there were major acts performing there but tickets were not free. Sometimes they have a “free” show but there are Ticketmaster fees so …. Hotel rates are a little up there, but it is new and modern.

The casino floor had many table games, and it wasn’t too hard to go from one game to another. I think they had eight Roulette tables running at one time which might be a record. Craps table had the “Fire” bonus bet. Players club does have a daily spin offering for free points and comps you can take advantage of. I got 2 free t-shirts and a bunch of candy from the gift shop. The Players Club levels were kind of steep - going from the basic level (0) to the next level you had to earn 50000 points. But for about a week of visits I earned about 13000 points with Craps and my system on Roulette.

Overall, I would recommend visiting Emerald Queen in Tacoma for a visit.

The Emerald Queen across the highway in Fife is a different story. Outside it has a dated look. Like it’s been a while anyone has been inside it. But I took a chance. Its in a slightly depressed area. It’s more than a mile from that pot store I told you about and about a block away is a plasma bank, so that never bodes well for the look of a business.

It has a parking lot outside, and yes you have find a spot and walk a ways to get in. Entering the checkpoint, you choose between nonsmoking and smoking gaming. Going inside the décor is dated (like from the 90s) with low ceilings you can jump up and touch. Doesn’t matter what side you’re on you smell smoke. The casino only has slots machines in Emerald Queen Fife. And the slot machines are the same you can find in cleaner casinos.

Unless the traffic on I-5 strands you at that casino I would avoid Emerald Queen Fife (not kidding about the I-5 traffic). I wish Fife would change their name. EQC Tacoma is an improvement and Fife drags down their reputation.

More casino reviews to come. Good luck #BreakingRoulette

2022 Tournament recap at the Cromwell

I had the privilege to participate in the 2022 Spin to Win tournament at the Cromwell last July. I was excited to be chosen since it was a chance to pit Breaking Roulette against a field of over 200 players. The 2021 tournament was held at the Paris casino and that tournament got full in matter of hours. These tournaments aren’t open to the public, so those invited must have been rated well by the casino to participate.

After getting there and registering, the rules of the tournament stated no writing materials were to be allowed during play. For an average mortal, this would be bad since The Book of Numbers has 228 different patterns to memorize. But since I wrote each, I had an idea of what chips to play and where.

I didn’t mention that earlier that summer, somehow I had sprained my ankle, and it developed into a most painful joint that didn’t like anything except for me to be in bed. It flared up constantly from June -August where it had to be in a full ankle boot. Even if I could get a refund on the airline tickets, I missed the last one, I wasn’t going to miss this tournament.

The tournament began with random selection of player assigned to their wheels for the semi-finals. The table would send only one player to the final table. We had a regulated 30 second window to place our bets (which is exactly what I trained myself and recommend players to do also when playing the game). So with 7 other players we played our version “twister” to place bets on the table in that 30 second window.

We had basically 3 types of players: the burnout, the sleeper, and the lucky.

The burnout makes heavy bets everywhere without rhyme or reason. They bet hard and sloppy and they tend to last a couple rounds before all their chips were gone. The sleeper, by contrast, would make the bare minimum bet. They figure everyone else would be a burnout, and they planned to cross the finish line like the tortoise against the hare.

I played differently. I had to blend in to the table so the first few bets I played about 25% of my bankroll. I made small profits of like 10-20% so I won small but I still was putting a lot of chips out so I looked like a burnout. The sleepers still played small, and the burnouts were not having luck so they started dropping out.

One of the premises that Breaking Roulette works under is that although the ball has no memory, the dealer does, and after seeing few spins, I could gage them and was able to bet all-in on my patterns, stay in the game, and gained on the leaders.

That added pressure on those that still in burnout mode to keep burning out, betting hard, and the sleepers were on tilt worried that no one else would fall out before the last round, so they changed their play.

Now comes the third type of player: the insanely lucky. The masters of pure luck. These are the ones who swear they never played the game before. Or they have no strategy other that using their birthday, or some footballers’ number, or nothing else logical to make a bet. So, you think they’ll be first out? Wrong! They’re the ones that hit huge time and time again. For some reason those lucky ducks were the front runners.

I had made good gains and I was in third place when we came to the final round. I had tracked the dealer and I was sure the next spin was going to be the Number 2, so I laid out the “2 Mark Eight” pattern and reinforced as many bets as possible going all in. The ball was spun, and the result was the Number 0! Which is right next to the Number 2 so I won my bets. And my bankroll soared, and chips were counted up. The last burnout was wiped out. The sleepers came in last. And I, using Breaking Roulette, triumphantly came in … second.

So just like “Top Gun” there are no points for second place. I battled again by wildcard draw and came in second again, and that was good for $500 in prize money. I finished overall 11th in the tournament. It always feels good to pull a good win out at the last second, and my mission to validate Breaking Roulette in these conditions was a success.

My picture of me shows my boot, which I claim happened from “kicking a$$ in the tournament”. Overall, I’m pleased with my systems’ performance, and we’ll get another chance to showcase it. There’s always next year. Get your own copy of Breaking Roulette and practice.
